Laura Watson

Laura Watson has been a photographer since 1998, using photography to support environmental conservation and scientific research. She is engaged in projects in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, in countries such as Uruguay, Cuba, and Nicaragua, working with biologists to produce artistic exhibits, educational materials, field guides and other publications.

As part of these activities she has had numerous exhibits at venues in Cuba, Uruguay, the United States, Japan and the Dominican Republic.

She is also an architectural photographer working on projects in Egypt and the United States.

Laura is president of Nature’s Edge, Inc., a nonprofit corporation formed to carry out her work in environmental conservation. She has studied photography independently as well as completing workshops with Maine Photographic Workshops and other organizations.

In her previous life she graduated from Brown University and completed her MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She lives in the Cleveland area.
